Criminal law

Criminal law governs the interaction between a person and the community. It describes what constitutes an anti-social conduct. Whether you are the victim or the purported author of a punishable act, criminal cases must be taken very seriously.

If you are the victim, you shall be directed to the assistance and supporting structures – your rights shall be protected, so as to obtain that the author is punished and you receive damages.

If you are the purported author of a punishable act, you must be assisted by counsel to guarantee that, during the process which will examine your behaviour, your rights are protected and that you are enabled to exercise all your means of defense. If a sentence is decided, it will have to be appropriate with regard to the act you have committed.
