Bernard Détienne

Bernard Detienne holds a Bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Geneva (Switzerland) and has been admitted as a lawyer since 1979 (in Geneva) and as a notary since 1985 (in Valais). Bernard Detienne speaks French (his mother tongue) and English.

Bernard Detienne started working as a bank legal advisor and executive secretary in a Geneva private bank before joining a business law firm in Geneva. He moved to Valais to practice as an independent notary and attorney-at-law.

Bernard Detienne is a general practitioner with a marked interest for international private law, inheritance and natural persons law, property law, contract law, business and company law, building law (private and administrative aspects), law applying to foreigners (residence, establishment, taxes), intellectual property law, criminal law, arbitration law and debt collection procedures.
